Solidarity in Mobility strengthens the social response of 23 institutions

In the 2025 edition of the Solidarity in Mobility programme, the EDP Foundation supported 23 social institutions across the country, with an estimated impact on the lives of 22,000 people. Intended for the purchase of 100% electric vehicles and other equipment for electric mobility, these donations amounted to €15,000 in support for each institution.

Turn around. A look at the EDP Foundation Art Collection (Part I)

Established in 2000, the EDP Foundation Collection is now one of the most extensive and diverse institutional collections of contemporary art in Portugal. The exhibition at MAAT Central will take place in two stages. The first will open to the public on 11 February; the second will open on 29 April.

Central Tejo Carpentry Workshop, 1936-2013

Central Tejo Carpentry Workshop, 1936-2013 presents a collection of tools that form part of the history of Central Tejo, more specifically of its old carpentry workshop. These tools evoke the intensity of daily life in the electricity factory and bear witness to the importance of human labour and industrial power in the construction of modernity.

Electra 30: The Fear

Fear is the central theme of Electra 30. This edition analyzes the role of fear in contemporary life and history, as a force that shapes behavior, governance, and collective imaginaries. It reflects on the fears of our time, born of current political, social, and cultural conditions, and on how this feeling has become a structuring element of human experience.

Pedro Casqueiro – Detour

A retrospective exhibition of Pedro Casqueiro (Lisbon, b.1959) brings together approximately 80 works, mostly paintings, created from the 1980 to 2024.

Isabelle Ferreira – Notre Feu

At MAAT, Isabelle Ferreira is presenting Notre Feu, an exhibition whose title recalls nights passed gathered around campfires, making reference to the journey of Portuguese migrants who, during the early 1960s under the Salazar dictatorship, fled clandestinely to France.
