Through the EDP Energia Solidária Programme, the EDP Foundation will support social projects that, by promoting a fair energy transition, have a positive impact on people or groups in vulnerable situations, workers in the social economy, students or more isolated communities.
The 2024 edition of the EDP Energia Solidária Programme represents a social investment of more than two million euros in Portugal, Spain and Brazil. Out of this total, more than one million euros will be invested in Portugal, in mobilisation and training actions for candidate entities and in financing the winning projects.
The EDP Energia Solidária Programme is part of EDP's social impact strategy Y.E.S. – You Empower Society, which has as its main focus the fair energy transition.
